Star Financial, a leading financial institution in the Midwest, expanded its operations with a new headquarters in Fort Wayne. To support their growing workforce and advanced technology needs, they required a robust, scalable network infrastructure. We were tasked with providing a future-ready solution that would ensure secure, high-speed data transfers and accommodate future growth.

Our Solution

We delivered a full-service structured cabling solution that was tailor-made to Star Financial’s needs, including:

9 TR Buildouts

We equipped and bonded each telecommunications room, ensuring performance and durability throughout the facility.

Fiber Backbone

We extended singlemode fiber from the demarcation point, creating a backbone that connected the main distribution frame (MDF) to each intermediate distribution frame (IDF) using a star topology for optimal traffic management. A singlemode fiber link was also installed to connect the data center, providing the fastest possible network speeds.

Copper Cabling

We installed approximately 900 Cat6 cables, ensuring a reliable and fast data network throughout the building.

Access Control

To meet security requirements, composite cables were installed for 47 access-controlled doors, seamlessly integrating with the network for secure and managed entry points.

Warranty Assurance

The entire cabling infrastructure was backed by a Berk-Tek/Leviton warranty, providing long-term performance assurance.
